January's Fresh Start: Fuel Your Cycling Journey

As we embark on a new year, it's the perfect time to kickstart your cycling journey. With the promise of longer days and warmer weather, now is the ideal moment to dust off your bike and hit the road with some goals for the new year.

To help you make the most of the upcoming cycling season, our January box is packed with essential gear and expert advice. From performance-enhancing nutrition to cutting-edge technology, we've got everything you need to make your cycling effortless.

We're excited to announce our revamped subscription boxes, offering even more affordable options to suit your needs. Whether you're a casual rider or a seasoned pro, we've got a box for you to change your cycling life.

Let’s get stuck in to what’s in store this month!

Nutritionally we have four bundles, one from each of our tried and trusted brands:

• Maurten - our favourite combination of Gel 160 and Solid 225. Gel 160 makes the most of Maurten's hydrogel technology — encapsulating 40 grams of carbohydrates in each serving. Solid 225 contains a glucose-fructose mix that shows similar absorption rates to carbohydrate drinks and gives you something to chew on!

• Precision Fuel & Hydration - PF30 Gels and Chews to rapidly deliver 30g of carbs into your system with a non-sickly taste. Light and easy on the stomach and lightweight and compact to carry.

• STYRKR - Gel 30, Bar 50 and STYRKRTHON. Gel 30 brings 30g of carbohydrates and a little nitric oxide boost to fuel top performance. Bar 50 has that bit greater carbohydrate content and all natural ingredients to fuel your rides. To recover we love the play on the old Marathon, with the STYRKRTHON a vegan protein bar that is super tasty.

• Veloforte - a full range of options including bars, gels and chews! The bars use all natural ingredients to provide 40g of dual-source carbs and 5g of plant protein - ideal for longer rides. The chews are there for a pure energy boost; 44g of natural energy from real fruit and the purest electrolytes. Finally, the gels which are designed to provide both energy (22g of carbs) and electrolytes (110mg) - again with all natural ingredients. All these options taste great and are light on the stomach.

On the hydration front there are options to choose from too:

• Maurten: Drink 320 / 320 CAF, the world's most carbohydrate-rich sports drink, based on the same hydrogel technology as Maurten's Gels. 80g of carbs per serving (500 ml). Our boxes come with and without 100mg caffeine options, utilizing the hydrogel technology to hide the bitterness of the caffeine.

• Precision Fuel & Hydration: PH1000 Electrolyte tablets. These are a reasonably strong electrolyte drink designed to help you stay hydrated when you're sweating. Hypotonic formula enhances the absorption of water during exercise. Perfect for warm summer rides.

• STYRKR: Dual Carb Drink MIX90 - Quick release, fast absorbing and gentle on the stomach - perfect to rehydrate and refuel on the bike.

• Veloforte - we've opted to include the electrolyte based drinks with a mild carb level (22g) for something lighter on the stomach and very hydrating. We also include Veloforte's Recovery Protein Shakes to help you recover from hard rides and strength training sessions.

• Muc Off C3 Wet Lube (50ml): This premium ceramic lube provides a durable coating for your chain, reducing friction and ensuring smooth performance in the wet and muddy conditions we have right now.

• Stans No Tubes Sealant (500ml): Known for its reliability, this tubeless sealant seals punctures up to 6.5mm and remains effective for 2-7 months, making it a top choice for tubeless tire setups. 500ml should set you up nicely for the year ahead too!

• Squirt Chain Lube (120ml): This biodegradable, wax-based lube offers long-lasting lubrication and keeps your chain clean by repelling dirt and grime. One of the best performing and often cleanest chain lubes we have come across!
